Concierge chat. If you use our on-site assistant (“Mason”), the messages you send are used to find a matching answer from our own pre-written information. Mason is not powered by any third-party AI, and we do not send your messages to an outside AI service. We do keep a record of chat conversations in our cloud systems so we can review and improve the assistant. Please use the chat only if you're comfortable, share only what you choose, avoid entering private information, and note you never need to provide personal details to use it.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and pages viewed, using cookies and similar technologies and analytics tools.

We do not collect payment-card information through this website. Pricing is handled by phone or invoice, and any payment is processed separately.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your inquiries, prepare estimates, and arrange pickup or delivery of materials;
• To operate, maintain, secure and improve our website and the concierge assistant;
• To send you information you request or that relates to your project or account;

• To service providers and technology partners who operate the website and perform functions on our behalf and under our instructions — including Data Stream Inc, which designs, builds, hosts, and operates this website and the systems behind our chat assistant on our behalf, and Google (Firebase and Google Cloud), which provides website hosting and database storage (Firestore) — each permitted to use the information only to provide services to us and not for its own purposes;
• When required by law, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Delta Rock & Sand, our customers, or others;
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not currently use a separate third-party analytics, email, or text-messaging provider. If we add one, we will update this policy to name it.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so may affect how the site functions. We do not currently use a third-party analytics service that identifies you individually; if we add analytics in the future, we will say so here.

6. AI Concierge

Our chat assistant (“Mason”) is automated and operated by us. It matches your message to pre-written answers from our own information — it is not powered by any third-party AI, and your messages are not sent to an outside AI service. We do keep chat conversations on our cloud systems to review and improve the assistant. Please use the chat only if you're comfortable and avoid entering private information. It is provided for general information only, may be incomplete, and should not be relied on for project, engineering, or pricing decisions. Please do not enter sensitive information into the chat — for example, credit- or debit-card numbers, bank-account numbers, Social Security or other government-ID numbers, or passwords — and confirm anything important with our staff. You never need to share contact details to use the chat; if you'd rather not, just call us.

7. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to operate our business, and to comply with legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations. In general, we keep quote requests, contact details, and project information for about three (3) years after our last interaction with you, and chat transcripts for up to twelve (12) months, unless a longer period is needed to meet legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations or to resolve a dispute — after which we delete or de-identify it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy
